ray mjadwesch
Sometimes sings, writes songs, plays rhythm guitar, the jaw harp, and has a banjo which he's learning to play. If Tim's drums aren't being played, he'll be the first to enjoy a bit of a bash on them in the dungeon.
The dungeon is 3 storeys below his studio office, which is a bit of a cabinet of curiosities. Ray's an environmental scientist in his day job, and loves lizards. He specialises in threatened species. For 10 years Ray has been taking on the coal mining industry, exposing unreported environmental impacts and successfully nominating mining subsidence as a Key Threatening Process in NSW. He also gently wrangles injured kangaroos ... or emus & wombats. His latest concern is the severe decline of kangaroos around Australia, and the lack of examination of the science by government and scientists generally. He would like to see more science-based advocacy for the environment and conservation. See www.kangaroosatrisk.net |
